How to host using my method

For members eyes only so jay or thor please dont move this dia told me to post this here =)

this is how i host first you will need Utorrent

if you want autorefresh and Custom kick i suggest u get Visual custom kick

http://visualcustomkick.com/download.html

note that you need winpcap3.1 for the AR to work but it has other neat functions too

ok so download Utorrent open it up and hit Ctrl+P Or go into options and click preferences

under listening port check everything EXCEPT FOR "randomize port each start"

Set the port to 6112 and hit ok

now on the bottom right part of your screen right click the Utorrent icon and click exit then open it again the X will only minimize you have to right click the icon and then click exit for it to work

go to http://www.canyouseeme.org/ if u want to test it just put in port 6112 but its not mandatory

after a few times u will have to open utorrent close it and open it a second time for it to work like it should but you should now be able to host

Really? This simple? I've been using utorrent for quite some time, but it never occurred to me to use it for hosting.

u dont need winpcap3.1 unless u want the Autorefresh

I'm using your check thing, and it always says Connection timed out. What is wrong? I really want to host F-Life.

it doesnt always work for everyone when i connect to my neighbors whom have linksys it doesnt work but with my house's connection it works just fine

on a second note make sure that whenever u open it up u close it then open it again that and the port in preferences is 6112

lol... i just found out that my internet is all screwed up.. it goes through 2 routers and 2 modems before it gets to the provider... LoL im not going to be hosting for a while...

it works for some people tho and not for others

If you can host nightshade, make your bot autohost.

its a bot made specifically for channels not for hosting

Then make another.
